Blue Windows opened in March of 1999. I personally began working there part time in August of that same year. I had just graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a music degree and thought I would take a break before going to grad school. Little did I know that break would turn into a career I never expected. I ended up managing the store for 5 years before buying it in September of 2004. I was always so involved in the store, but at that point I real­ized it was mine and Blue Windows had become my story. Over the years I have enjoyed grow­ing with the store and watching it evolve into what it has turned into today. I love that the store has become a cre­ative out­let for me as well as a way to interact with the wonderful community of Belmont Shore. I am constantly striving to bring uniqueness to my store and offer products that are beautiful and inspiring. Blue Windows has come to be my story and I am continually excited for the next chapter.
