Blue Windows opened in March of 1999. I per­son­ally began work­ing there part time in August of that same year. I had just grad­u­ated from Cal Poly SLO with a music degree and thought I would take a break before going to grad school. Little did I know that break would turn into a career I never expected. I ended up man­ag­ing the store for 5 years before buy­ing it in September of 2004. I was always so involved in the store, but at that point I real­ized it was mine and Blue Windows had become my story. Over the years I have enjoyed grow­ing with the store and watch­ing it evolve into what it has turned into today. I love that the store has become a cre­ative out­let for me as well as a way to inter­act with the won­der­ful com­mu­nity of Belmont Shore. I am con­stantly striv­ing to bring unique­ness to my store and offer prod­ucts that are beau­ti­ful and inspir­ing. Blue Windows has come to be my story and I am con­tin­u­ally excited for the next chapter.
