What a great way to cel­e­brate the Holiday sea­son! Whether you choose to give 25 gifts to your kids, hus­band, wife or sig­nif­i­cant other it will def­i­nitely make each morn­ing in December magical!

I am grate­ful for many things and this year I was able to find out what my cus­tomers are grate­ful for.

Today started out a bit depress­ing and stress­ful and ended up pro­duc­tive and full of sur­prises. I was a bit down this morn­ing and with the rain adding to my mood I felt like this was how my day would con­tinue to be. Surprise…my friend Lailani came with a sim­ple flower and card that com­pletely made my day. It’s truly amaz­ing how words of encour­age­ment can affect one’s soul and mood. I also got a sur­prise visit from Jeanine Payer! She is here for busi­ness and invited me to lunch with her Jewelry rep, Nina. While we were at lunch she inter­viewed me for a blog she is putting together. I was pleas­antly sur­prised by the ques­tions. Gold or Silver? Plaid or Stripes? Beatles or Rolling Stones? Favorite movie? Favorite work of Art? This is just a sam­pling of the ques­tions. One in par­tic­u­lar brought back a great deal of mem­o­ries and per­spec­tive. She asked what my favorite piece of jew­elry was in her col­lec­tion. I had such a hard time because there are so many for dif­fer­ent rea­sons. I told her about the first piece I bought when I was man­ag­ing the store and couldn’t really afford her jew­elry. I fell in love with the “Stella” ring with the quote “Sing in me, Muse, and through me tell the story.” I had just grad­u­ated with a music degree so it was per­fect for my life. This mem­ory made me rec­ol­lect how far I have come in busi­ness and in life.
